 The Glitz and the Glamour surrounding the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas meant it was time for the biggest and best awards show of the year so far. The AVN Awards continues to excite many, pornstars and viewers alike. So many nominees, so many categories. Who would win what?
The AVN Awards celebrates the best in porn from the last 12 months and like it's award contempories puts on one hell of a show for the public and stars. It's a rare sight seeing porn stars dressed in their finest but this is one time of year when they can dress up, look their best and not have to worry about getting cum in their eyes.
The vast plethora of awards given out over the night take up several pages so here's a few of the best of the best from 2007.

Belladonna was nomited in many categories which was impressive given her decision to retire last year then have a change of heart and return. Given her love of extreme sex and performing with other women, Belladonna's Fucking Girls perhaps should have won Best All Girl Series but was beaten by Women Seeking Women. Notably the excellent Pink Visual website Her First Lesbian Sex also featured as a nominee.

The scene in The Craving featuring Chelsie Rae and Tyler Knight took Best Anal Sex Scene while Bondage Thoughts took the award for Best BDSM Release. It was no surprise to anyone that Debbie Does Dallas won the Best Classic Awards
For lovers of HD Porn DVDs then go and pick up Fashionistas Safado: Berlin. It took away the award for Besr High Definition Production. Lovers of the Solo Sex scene should also own a copy of Extreme Holly Goes Solo in a very well deserved win for Pink Visual.
Femdom had it's moment in the spotlight and the Femdom Strap-On Award went to Babes Ballin' Boys 17 while in the world of Gonzo porn the Best Gonzo Series was won by the excellent and truly legendary Bangbus.
 Just as a small footnote, the awards and categories drifted into some diverse and fun areas. The best being The Most Outrageous Sex Scene, not won by Belladonna for her part in Belladonna's Fetish Fanatic 5 (with help from Claire Adams) but by that other extreme anal loving pornstar Audrey Hollander and her co-stars Cindy Crawford and Rick Masters for There Are Some Things Even An Asshole Shouldn't Attempt, featured in Ass Blasting Felching Anal Whores.
